About Dr. Goda

Dr. Shuichiro Goda was born in Kyoto and raised in Kurume. He received his MD from Kyushu University and completed his internship and internal medicine residency at Okinawa Chubu Hospital. He went on to complete a neurology residency at Kyushu University Hospital and was board-certified in neurology in 1985.

He is certified by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) in the United States, and completed a fellowship in neurochemistry at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland.

Dr. Goda served as a staff neurologist at Kyushu Kosei Nenkin Hospital in Kitakyushu from 1990 to 1998, and at Fukuoka Tokushukai Hospital from 1998 to 2000. He has been in solo clinical practice since 2000.

Our Approach

Neurology is the specialty that deals with diseases of the nervous system — not only the brain and spinal cord, but also peripheral nerves and muscles.

We care for patients with symptoms such as headache, numbness, dizziness, or shakiness. Through careful neurological examination and appropriate testing — including EEG and nerve conduction studies / EMG — we aim to reach an accurate diagnosis and provide appropriate treatment.
